I am so excited about this month's activity and all the contributions that have been made to our legacy. It has truly been inspiring for me! I am more encouraged than ever that this project is worth the time and effort that everyone is putting forth to prove that the "Goodson Family Portfolio" is beneficial, worthy of time, and will be and is a wonderful journey to experience. It will only get better and better. I promise!
I'd like to hold a short meeting in October or November. To gain some feedback, get suggestions, and form a small committee to ensure this project will be life-lasting, and include other Goodson's family members within various generations who would like to volunteer to keep the legacy strong and for all time.

A message from your editor - 09/15/2023
This portfolio should be viewed as a viable resource for all Goodsons. Your children, grandchildren, and continued legacy for all generations to come. The family reunion book of 2006, which is now 17 years old, is still referred to as a reference, like an encyclopedia! 17 years old! Do you have any idea how much has happened since then? This can be more than a book of photos. You can share whatever personal experiences or family history you want to share if desired.
This is not Facebook, where you have to sift and search through it to find that one picture you thought you saw.
This is a foundation and platform for the new generations to take hold of with the same pride for which the "Goodsons" are known.
Is anyone ready to take on the roles of Aunt Harriettes, Aunt Rosalind, and Uncle Louis who pushed for family reunions and knew the history well enough to sit you down and tell a story?
If you are a descendant of this family and your photo is not on this page, submit your photo and family photos with names so I can add them.
